Standing to sue pursuant to the California Unruh Act

The court of appeal affirmed that he had no standing to sue because of this and denied his appeal. This is actually a good ruling because it gives certainty to cases - businesses can not be sued merely because someone believes they will be discriminated against, but only when actual discriminatory activity takes place. This will slow the "drive by" litigation that is quite common in California.
